What is Heritage Lounge Doing to Limit the Spread of COVID-19?
Gin has been pouring freely, laughter has been echoing through booths, our chefs have been run off their feet, guests have been parading cheesy smiles, and the venue speakers are hot from soundwave vibration…
Over the past few weeks since reopening, our team have shared many yarns with committed guests showing admirable support for our bar. While this has been a challenging and turbulent time for our team, we have been overwhelmed and gratified by the great backing from our loyal guests.
It’s humbling to watch the community come together to support local businesses during this tricky period. We can’t thank you enough!
Unfortunately, coronavirus outbreaks in some NSW regions means we must introduce some new restrictions regarding entry to our venue. It is important that we address these outbreaks immediately and follow all Government recommendations to reduce the spread of COVID-19 as quickly as possible.
If you have travelled within or been in contact with anyone in any of the NSW hotspots, please do not visit our venue. This also applies if you are experiencing any symptoms of sickness. The advice from health officials is to self-isolate in your own home – you should not be attending businesses or venues.
Please note that Heritage Lounge will remain open at this stage, however we must protect the safety of our community by restricting people from hotspots from entering the venue.
Since the pandemic began to present itself in Australia in March, our team have been taking the upmost precautions to ensure safety for our staff, guests, and the community. Just some of the measures we have introduced to limit the spread of COVID-19 include:
- Continuing and enhancing our already-strong hygiene standards
- Adhering to all Government restrictions and recommendations, including limiting the number of people allowed in our venue
- Assisting and refunding event coordinators as they postpone/cancel large-scale events
- Offering hand sanitiser to guests and staff
- Practising social distancing and encouraging social distancing from our guests
- Asking guests not to enter the premises if they have recently travelled to outbreak areas, or have any symptoms of sickness
As circumstances evolve, we will continue to follow advice from the Government, and we will change our venue operations accordingly if necessary. Stay tuned to our social media channels to be notified of any changes to patron numbers or opening hours.
For now, and for the months coming, we must continue to be cautious for the sake of the community… but, don’t worry, it won’t be long until we are back up and running in our good old fashioned full-house Heritage Lounge style!
If you have any questions about our current coronavirus response, please contact our team over the phone on (02) 9633 3887.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and support. From our team to you: stay safe, stay positive, and let’s get through this together.
